Penguin Mouse benefits while working

Normal and penguin mouse difference
Impact of penguin mouse on the arm

This Penguin Ambidextrous Vertical Mouse sets a new standards of protection against a range of upper limb conditions such as repetitive strain injury (RSI) and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS).

This amazing ergonomic mouse minimises these conditions by enabling right and left hands to share the workload.

By avoiding exaggerated movements off the wrist joint this reduces the pressure on the soft tissues in the carpal tunnel. Please see the image on the left.

This ergonomic mouse is truly a breakthrough. Regular switching between the hands throughout the day helps prevent static muscle strain (SMS) in the arm and shoulder.

The Penguin Mouse is also antimicrobial to inhibit the growth of bacteria – making it perfect for hot-desking environments.

Bought the mouse because of tendonitis. The upright arm/hand position does help relieve the pressure. People have mentioned the buttons are hard to push. I didn’t find this true but did notice my hand would get tired which then made the buttons harder to push. Consider it more a strengthen issue. I order a medium base on the hand chart. Overall like the mouse and would recommend it but it does take time to get the knack of using it.

I have had carpal tunnel problems in both hands and now have trigger fingers/thumbs. Using the Penguin mouse has been a great help. I would recommend it to all people who are experiencing hand problems.
It did take about a week for me to get used to using the Penguin but using it is easy.
The only issue you should have is trying to work out what size mouse to purchase. I have large hands and the sizing suggested I could use medium or large mouse. I have been fine using the Medium size mouse.

Mouse arrived very quickly, well packaged. Much easier for me to use than a standard mouse.
